New Jersey National Guard
General Edward J. Chrystal Jr.
By Michael D. Boll
Last year, I had the honor and privilege to listen to New Jersey National Guard General Edward J. Chrystal Jr. address numerous veterans at a Union County veteran event.
General Chrystal is a dynamic speaker, and you can hear the passion in his voice when he speaks about helping our veterans and first responders.
For years, he has been leading our men and women of the New Jersey National Guard and they all say the same thing about how fortunate we are to have him leading and protecting them.
General Chrystal has a reputation of always putting his men and women first. He is committed and will do anything to help our military continue to be the best in the world. General Chrystal is definitely one of the most respected and outstanding leaders I have ever met, and we are thrilled to have him on our racing team and network.
A few months ago, I reached out to General Chrystal and asked if he could help our team. We decided to meet up and go over our team’s mission and veteran initiatives. This was the first time I ever met with a general and it was a little nerve-wracking.
Moments later, I felt at ease because he is a completely humble man who just wanted to help us in any way. General Chrystal was a New Jersey State Trooper as well, and understands the importance of our mission to save lives and connect better with the military.
Immediately, General Chrystal joined up and started helping our team with its mission.
On May 10th, General Chrystal came out to the Roselle American Legion and gave out service medals to the Union County veterans.
Personally, having a friend and teammate who happens to be a general will really give our team the boost to reach out across the state and help our veterans and first responders live a better way of life.
Here is General Chrystal’s amazing bio and service record.
